4 1/2 months old!

It amazes us how much our little baby grows everyday! When she was born everyone kept telling us "treasure every single day you have with her because they grow up and change so fast" And we're finding that to become more and more true. Tonight when I was laying my little sweetheart down I just felt this overwhelming love for her. Though I am trying my hardest to treasure this SO FUN stage she is at right now, I find myself day dreaming about getting her ready for school dances, going prom dress shopping with her, cheering her on at her softball games (he he he ;) ) or staying up late some nights to be her shoulder to cry on when she just needs her mom to comfort her because of a rough day at school or work. We love our baby girl.

Right now She-

* Loves snuggling her blanky  for naps and at night, she just holds on to it tight and presses it up against her cheek.

* Has started to Full on giggle and it is the CUTEST thing I've ever heard it melts our hearts.

*Has by far the most unique and cutest yawn...we are still trying to capture it on video, it lasts for like 30 seconds.

* Is starting to be able to hold her own bottle...gets a little tired so she still needs help.

*Goes to bed at 7:00!

*Loves holding her little toys.

*Still loves her bumbo.

*Loves her play gym.

*Is 27 inches long.

*Sucks on her big toe when she is in the tub and while we are changing her ha ha.

*Drools NONSTOP

*When she gets really excited or really scared she does this thing with her arms where she makes them as stiff as a bored and sticks them out to the side of her and leans back.

*Has many nick names:
  • Charles
  • Bug
  • Cha Cha
  • Scrudos
  • Baby Bug

We love our little Stinky Stinkerson!

4 Year Crisis?!?!?!

Okay so here's the thing-
Back in 2007 I was 7 months into Hair School, my boyfriend just broke up with me, my confidence dropped to it's lowest, I was feeling so empty for many reasons in my life at the time.... and I had long blond healthy hair...
One thing I have learned since then is that changing my hair is a way that I deal with my emotions, it was also my way of rebelling if that makes any sense. So back to my story... after all this was going on I decided to CHOP off my hair and color it BLACK. It was short and spiky in the back and a faux hawk on top, that was my way of dealing with what all that I was going through at the that time. Soon after I regretted it and it seems like I have been trying to get my hair back to the way it was in the picture above for 4 years now. It is now longer and blonder and I'm still feeling like it's not right....am I just not a blond anymore? Or will I just really never be happy with my hair? One thing I hate about my blond hair is how damaging it is. I really would LOVE  to find a hair color and just stick with it....it causes me so much grief changing it, but I feel like if it was where I loved it right now then I wouldn't feel the need to change it...Gar is convinced though that no matter how much I like I'm going to eventually change it, and that really troubles me.

So I'm asking for your opinion and help What should I do????

Here are some of my ideas.....
I'm in the middle- It's a darker brown with some blond pieces going through it.
 Next-
Or do I just stay blond?!?!?!
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Laurie's # 3! Crazy!

My sister Laurie had her little cute guy on Tuesday! She was supposed to be induced but ended up going into labor on her own! She was so happy!!! It was her best labor and delivery she has had which is funny because it happened to be the only one where she didn't have an epidural..... she got the shot, but the doctor forgot to hook it up so there was nothing coming out when she pressed the button, what a trooper! She looked so good after!!! They named the cute little guy JAXON.

The Holidays

This was mine and Garett's 3rd Christmas together and our first with Charly! She's still way to little to know what was going on but we were still so excited to give her the presents we got. Christmas Eve we went to my parents house and did the traditional yummy dinner, program, sit on santa's lap, and sibling gift exchange. For part of the program we did the nativity scene and Charly was the baby Jesus...it's so crazy because I can still remember when I got to be Mary.  Christmas day was we endulged in all of Joey's great cooking...she worked so hard that day and kept everyone well fed with lots of yummy food! We were able to spend time with family and just relax!

New Years Eve was so much fun! We decided we would do a meat fondue, eat treats, and play games! We had Anj and Gar come over and enjoy this yummy new tradition with us and it all just had so much fun...Lots of laughs!

CHARLY'S BLESSING
Charly was blessed today, and Gar gave her a beautiful blessing. I can't believe she will already be 3 months old tomorrow. She is "talking" so much, it's the cutest thing! She is such a happy baby and we feel so blessed to have her in our lives.
