B Y U COUGARS!

Yes it's that time again folks and we are SO EXCITED!!!!

11 months!

I can't even keep up with how fast she is growing...time just seems to be moving faster and faster in the world today. I love this little girl so much, and I honestly can't imagine life without her. She is still not walking and still scooting around. In fact, she has pretty much perfected that little scoot. She is still getting into everything and anything she can. In the mornings when we go get her out of her crib we have to make sure we put her blanket on our shoulder and then pick her up. She is so snugly when you get her out of bed in the mornings or from her naps. She takes a morning nap and an afternoon nap that I am forever grateful for! She loves to go on a walk to the park and swing for a bit. She absolutely adores her dad and gets so excited when he comes home and cries if he leaves to go outside. I'm so happy that I'm able to stay home with this little scoot!

Never Forget

10 years ago today I was getting ready to go to school in the 7th grade. I almost wish I would have been more mature to have really understood what was going on as I was watching the news that morning with my mom in her bedroom. I remember she started crying and I felt so confused but at the same time just had this feeling in me that something was really wrong. I went to school and went to my swing choir class and Mr. Evans was crying too, but they weren't allowing us to watch the news. Garett was a sophmore in High School and his experience was different because he was older and understood more of the reality and the change that this was going to have over our country. He said that that day his history teacher turned on the tv and said "Shut up, Listen and watch....this is History."
I'm thankful for all those in law enforcement or that put themselves in harms way everyday to protect us and our country. I am will always be proud of my dad serving on the Springville fire department and the Springville Police department. He is my Hero, along with all those that risked their lives 10 years ago on 9 11

10 months! (well 10 1/2 now :) )

Oh my goodness she is getting SO BIG! He scoot is getting SO fast it's like her bum never touches the ground, she looks like a gorilla! She is holding on to things and standing up, and she will walk back and forth across the couch holding on tightly to the couch. She loves to sit on anything that is elevated from the ground and just play on it for awhile and then get off, get back on, get off....and on and on...! She has one top tooth with another trying to push it's way out! She has become more and more attatched to her blanket...and the binky which is kind of unfortunate for us, but we will take it for now. She loves pretending to "talk" on the phone and out of all of her toys her carseat is her favorite thing to play with...go figure. We have just moved and she is getting use to her new place and new room, but I'm pretty sure is settling in well and is still being the champ of baby she has always been ;) ha ha. She is still an amazing eater and I'm forever grateful. She loves to go up the stairs in our house, but still doesn't know how to go down, so we're working on that! Her hair is getting longer and curlier, I love her Afro top!
I love this picture of Charles picking her nose! Way to catch that shot Grandma Joey!

9 Months Old!

I know I say this every month BUT oh my goodness I just can't believe how fast she is growing and changing! Charly is such a sweetheart and I'm so grateful I'm able to stay home and experience her life with her.

  • She is pointing at things and she gets really excited. There is a calendar in the kitchen that has pictures of dogs and she has started to point to the calendar and say "doggy." There are pictures of some of her cousins in the kitchen as well and she points to them and starts giggling. he he She also can point out the picture Jesus on the fridge :)
  • She is still scooting around to everywhere she needs to go- she's quick and pretty good at this little scoot! She CAN crawl BUT prefers to scoot...which has given her the new nickname "scooter"
  • When she gets really excited she wrinkles her nose and pushes her lips out and breathes in and out really fast through her nose
  • She takes 2 awesome naps!
  • I have yet to find something that she DOESN'T like to eat
  • When its time to get in the tub I put her towel over my shoulder and she gets so excited and buries her face into the towel
  • When gar takes her downstairs she grabs onto his neck for life because he jumps up and down and all over the place
  • She says "mama" and "Dada"
  • Loves going jogging with me in her stroller
  • Loves to "swim" and splash around in the water
Here are some pictures grama Joey took when she was 8 months old :)

Happy 4th 2011

When Gar was wake boarding she got SO excited and started waving to him saying "dada" . When we would get going fast on the boat she started doing happy screams and was trying to catch the the wind! She did so good and had a lot of fun. We were able to wake board and gar did some knee boarding as well. It was a great day on the lake!

Later that night we had dinner with the Caldwells and then went to John and Lors for some fireworks! I would have to say that it has been a great 4th!

Summer!

We have been having so much fun this summer so far. Charly has loved going to the pool and splashing around. A couple of days ago I took her down to Grandma and Grandpa Tipton's irrigation water to play in. She was having fun splashing around and watching her cousins run around in the water.

For our anniversary we down to St. George for the weekend to see the Little Mermaid. I love the atmosphere at the Tuachan and the play was so cute, we had a lot of fun watching it together. Also while we were in St. George we went shopping, bowling, and saw the move "17 Miracles" but one of the most amazing things we did was sleep in and take a nap. Ha ha things you don't get to do when you have a kids. We loved the movie 17 miracles. It made us realize how blessed we are and it even humbled us a lot, we would recommend to anyone. I love Garett so much and it was so nice to be able to spend some alone time with him. He's  my sweetheart and best friend.
