R E A D Y

I am now 39 weeks and 3 days. It's amazing how you go 9 months and it just FLIES BY but once you get to the Last week it feels like Eternity. Gar and I were talking the other day and I was telling him some of my feelings.... feeling jealous of other peoples hobbies and interests because I feel like right now I don't really do much. And then I broke down and started to cry because I told him that is why I am more than ready to have Charly because I NEED her probably more than she is going to need me. I am more than ready to be mom...I know it's going to be so challenging and overwhelming at times, but I'm ready. I feel like this is my calling in life to be a mom and so I'm just waiting to be able to start this new beginning in my life with Garett and Charly.
There have been things in my life lately that have been stressing me out, and so I really can't say this enough! COME ON CHARLY GET HERE...I'M READY, AND I NEED YOU IN MY LIFE!

Baby Showers

I was thrown some great showers these past few weeks! And I still have one more that my work is doing for me this week!

My Mom and Laurie and Anj threw me my first one! They did an ice cream bar that turned out so cute!

Of course I had to cry at some point!

My second shower the Caldwell's did for me and I'm so sad because I forgot my camera! But Lor had it decorated SO cute, and had yummy food and we were able to eat and mingle and eat some very yummy or what Lor called  "Naughty" Cup Cakes!

My good friends Kylie and Kelsey had one for me as well! They went way out of their way and also decorated everything so darling and made some very delicious lunch and goodies!

Thank you ALL for going out of your way! I love you all so much and Charly is lucky to have been 'showered' with all your love!

Our Favorite season...Cougar Season!

It's that time of year again! BYU football! Gar got season tickets this year with his buddy because Charly and I will be cheering on our Cougs at home! But I was able to go to the first game with my Dad thanks to my Mom, she gave up her ticket :) But we had so much fun. I love being there and yes yet again I was trying not to cry when the team ran out onto the field...If it were just me there in the stadium and no one else there to judge, there WOULD be tears rolling down my face. I have always been a "cryer" and when I get really really excited or happy about something...I cry. So ANYWAYS it was a lot of fun and we won! We were happy to find out that Charly loves the Cougars just as much as us, she couldn't stop moving during the game ;)
After the game Gar and I went up to the cabin and stayed the night and hungout with the Caldwell bunch! It's always fun to go up there hangout with everyone! And of course Gar was stinkin cute with little Abbie!
Garett was able to go to the BYU vs Airforce game last weekend in Colorado with some buddies. Unfortunatly BYU did not show up to play, but I was glad Gar was able to go and just have fun and relax!

C H A R L Y

I am 35 weeks and only 5 more weeks to go!!!! We are getting closer and closer to having everything ready for when she gets here. Her room is all cute and ready to go! Garett, Steve, and Joey all worked on painting the room, Gar put together the crib and dresser, and than Gar and I put up the vinyl and painted her name and my dad etched into "Daughter of a Heavenly King" So it reads "Princess...Daughter of a Heavenly King. When Garett got the crib all put together and setup I started bawling because it made it that much more real.

Things are starting to become more and more difficult to do because I'm so HUGE! Ha ha! And sleeping especially isn't easy. Gar snapped this picture of me this morning....I'm thinking that's NOT how you're supposed to use the "pregnancy pillow" ????????????

I am very grateful for a very patient and understanding husband! He has had to put up with a very emotional wife, and he too has lost sleep because of all my constant tossing and turnings and sitting up and walking around! He tells me all the time how grateful is that I am doing this for our little family! I love him so much and I'm so excited to see him be the best daddy ever!!

Night Away

Gar and I were able to stay up in Salt Lake for a night. It's only an hour away but sometimes it's just nice to feel like you are "getting away" from lifes stresses. We aren't going to be able to do this very often once our little sweetheart gets here, so we definatly took advantage and just had a blast together!

Tipton Family Reunion 2010

This weekend we had my family reunion up at Jolley's Ranch. It was fun to see family that I haven't seen a while. My sister Laurie had put together our own "Minute to win it" for the adults to play and it was funny to see everyone try to complete the different challanges!

32 Weeks and "Moving" On...

I had Maternity Pictures taken with Garett on Monday when I was 31 weeks and 2 days with Kara Hancock, aka Flash Photography. It was so much fun, she did an awesome job. On her blog she previewed us 2 of our pictures which I thought was a great idea because I get so excited to see pictures after I take them so it helps to have some before you get the rest! :)

Look closely at my Belly!

It was so much fun to take pictures.... this little girl means the world to me and I can't wait to meet her. I'm feeling  more than ever now that I Need her in my life. It's kind of hard to explain. It's just that time of my life where I'm ready to take on the joy and challenge of having her. It's amazing how you can already feel so connected to someone you haven't met yet. I want so badly to be a great mom. I know I wont be perfect, but I do have so many goals that I hope to achieve to give her what she deserves. I think often about how blessed I am that Heavenly Father is trusting me to raise his precious daughter, and I can't wait to feel her innocent spirit.

Two weeks ago we rented out our house. We have been trying for almost a year now to sale it, but it had not sold yet so we decided to rent it. It is a good thing for us right now as we try to reach some other goals, but there is something very special about your first home with your spouse. It was a very emotional week for me and I cried a lot! I have a hard time with change and especially a change that requires me leaving something that means a lot to me! There are a lot of wonderful memories there! But I am very grateful that we did get it rented and are able to move forward with life. It's been fun staying at Gar's parents and we are very grateful for them.

We have been working on the baby's room, and I can't wait to post pictures of it when we're done!
