Some very important things have happened this month that have just been so special!
Our little niece Aubs turned 8 years old Thursday the 4th and was baptized Saturday the 6th. Her baptism was so special for me. I have always had a special connection with Aubrey, I think a lot has to do with the fact that I babysat her a lot for a couple of years and we lived right next door to each other! Everyone calls her "Aunt Lisa's look alike" and it's crazy because we do look a lot alike and often get asked if she's my younger sister. At her baptism her mom Michelle played the song "what heaven see's in you" and it was so beautiful, it brought the spirit in SO strong. Aubrey has such a kind heart and it always amazes me to see an eight year old be as tender hearted and concerned towards those around her. After she was confirmed it was so neat to see this little eight year old walk back to her seat with tear filled eyes. She is so helpful to her siblings, parents, grandparents, and everyone else. This girl brings a smile to my face every time I see her! I hope I can be the best aunt to her and all my other nieces and nephews, I love them ALL!
/>Ever since I was little I can remember always praying for my brother and having the faith and hope that he would one day come back into the gospel...in this life or next. It was the one thing that my family and I never gave up on! I have become closer and closer to him throughout the years and have gotten to know him better. He is so FUNNY and SO SO SO GENUINE AND KIND!!!! He's always doing or saying something to make someone feel better or brighten up their day! Well on Sunday he was ordained to have the Melchizedek Priesthood and on the 27th we will all be going to the Las Vegas temple to see him and his beautiful wife and son become an eternal family! This is such an amazing blessing to me and I couldn't be happier!
