We have had such a fun weekend together! Friday morning Charly and I went with Laur and Anj to the children's parade. I just put 2 balloons on the stroller and Charly loved just watching all the other kids! Kai and Logan were being so cute and funny on the little 4 wheeler.
After the parade we went over to the the little kids festival thing just for a little bit. I tried to have a butterfly painted on Charly's face but she wasn't letting that happen so we just settled for a flower balloon instead :)
Later that night Gar and I decided to go to the carnival and we took Charly on the Carousel and the Farris wheel! When the Carousel started moving she held on to the pole for her life...she didn't really know what to think, but she didn't cry and I thought she would so that's good! She liked the Farris wheel the first couple of times around but then she started to look like she was getting sick so we got off. It was so fun to do those rides with her!
Saturday we went to the firemens breakfast with my family and then we were in the parade helping Brandon and Michelle with Fire House Burger! Gar and Gar Boden were dressed up as firemen passing out candy and little red fire hats to the little kid! It was so cute, and the kids went nuts for them! Me, Laur and Anj all rode in the firetruck with our kiddos! Charly was so cute and such a trooper to ride on it, she loved it and didn't even get fussy!
At the end of the parade when we were driving back home to get our cars, Charly was just SO pooped and she fell asleep on me on the firetruck! It was a tender moment for me because she never does that anymore!
It was so much fun, we all had a blast, and I guess that's why we decided to go and do the Orem Parade with them too! :)
But before we went and did that we had a BBQ for Joey's birthday! Happy birthday Joey!
The Orem Parade was fun too, and we were glad that we were able to help Brandon and Michelle! We are so proud of their success with FireHouse! We Love Fire House it really is the best burger!! And that isn't just a biased opinion!
Dig Deep... - It's safe to say, life has been turned on end for me and my sweet little family. Living in Vernal was a rough change for me in the beginning. I struggled...
