BUSY with FUN

We have a had a lot of good fun things going on lately and I have gotten behind on blogging it all, so I'm going try and catch myself up!

In May Garett interviewed for a new job which would allow him to be home EVERY night and not travel anymore. When he first applied the thought of him getting the job was like something I couldn't even think was real or a possibility because I was so use to him traveling for the past year and a half. Well he kept getting another interview...and another interview... and finally in the beginning of June he was offered the job!!! We both were thrilled and it was one of those times where I felt like it was too good to be true and it humbled me because I had to ask myself "do I really deserve this blessing?" But we have been loving having him here every day! I have been loving cooking dinner and looking in my fridge and seeing A FULL FRIDGE AND FREEZER...The little things in life that I appreciate so much more now and that I probably would have taken for granted before. We both learned so much though from his traveling and we are grateful for the experiences and strength we gained from it. What a blessing to have him home for our baby girl!

I also changed jobs as well. I was working at Prestige Salon and Spa doing hair, but Gar and I just both felt that it would be best for our family and new addition to the family if I started the transition of me doing hair on my own now so I can be a stay at home mommy but still work doing hair. So I am working part time at a bank until I have the baby and doing hair part time.I miss all the girls at the salon but Thanks to my HARDWORKING Dad, Mom, Gar, and anyone else that has helped out, I now have a new beautiful Salon to work out of from home! It has been so fun, I LOVE BEING A HAIRSTYLIST!

Garett and I had been talking about getting a new car for awhile now, one that would get better gas mileage and be a good car for lugging around baby bug. When I was at work one day he called me and said he was at the car dealership but that there wasn't really anything there that we would be interested in, but he wanted to pick me up after work and take me up there with him and have me look as well to see what I thought. Well when he came to pick me up he was in OUR NEW CAR! I was so surprised and SO happy!! I have never had a new car before! It was so sweet of him! I was too scared to drive it at first though because I was scared to wrecking it! I'm so grateful for our car! It's a 2010 silver Toyota corolla s!

We celebrated the 4th up at the Caldwell's cabin. It was fun to spend time with everyone and just have fun and relax! We came home sunday night and then Monday we were able to get some stuff done around the house, had lunch with my family, went with my dad to go see the movie Knight and day, and then ended the night watching some fireworks at Brandon and Michelle's. It was all good fun!

I am now 28 weeks! I'm starting to feel more uncomfortable, and give into some of my cravings! I don't really have any weird cravings just cravings. I crave ice cream and CEREAL...AH I LOVE CEREAL! We are getting more and more anxious to meet this little girl! She is moving around like crazy...whoa! I finally have bought some little clothes for her, but she still needs much more ha ha! We are pretty sure we have a name for her but we aren't 100% sure yet so I'm not going to announce anything yet :) he he.

Hmm, Pregnancy...I think so

I've always heard woman when they are pregnant say "oh it's just my pregnant brain..." and every time I would hear that I would seriously think, " oh blah blah blah come on just admit you had a stupid moment and you forgot..." ha ha ha more or less ;). Well maybe I am just stupid, but I'm pretty sure something really has happened to my brain while being pregnant.

Here's a list of today's SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS...or what Garett would call, A LISA MOMENT, and in this case MOMENTS!

* While attempting to count back a customer's cash of $250.00, I simply forgot how to count and it sounded something like this... "50, 90, 100...wait no no no that's not right" while my face is turning bright red and surprised there isn't sweat dripping off my face and the customer interrupting me in the middle of this nonsense counting saying "that's not right...you skipped $100...do you need me to help..." I'm not sure how long I sat there and tried to remember how to count but it felt like forever. Bless his patient kind soul. He ended up just leaving with his cash and saying nicely "Trust me, it's all here...you don't need to count it."

* Eating a fair amount of Cheetos that someone I work with had kindly donated to the rest of us employees, and not noticing until later that day I had Cheeto crumbs all down my blouse... awesome.

* My drawer or till was off by a fair amount, but thanks to the help of a girl I work with she was able to find some pretty dumb mistakes I made on my tickets...few I balanced.

* Wasn't able to scan my work because who knows why, but having a kid I work with walk over, pick up my work and send it through...just like that....hm fancy that.

* Joking with the people I work with about the crazy day I had and they were teasing me about the whole money counting thing and so when I started walking away I...ran into the wall...yes I walked right INTO the wall.

* After a very fun evening with the Blackwells at the bowling alley, we had made it to the parking lot and almost to our cars when I looked down and realized "hm, that's weird I still have my bowling shoes on" I honestly couldn't even remember what must of been going on in my my brain when everyone else was putting their shoes back on and returning them back to the front...still trying to figure that one out.

Well I'm glad for tomorrow that I get a second chance, hopefully...

2 Years!

On Saturday May 15th Gar and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary! I feel like "whoa it's been 2 years!!!" but on the other hand I feel like we have always been married and I've known him forever,(in a very good way) so it's just kind of weird feeling! ha ha! But he surprised me and took me up to the roof and then we went to our traditional spot the Zermatt! It was a wonderful weekend! I love him so much!

20 Weeks!

Can't believe we are half way to meet our little girl! It really has gone by so fast! Here's a pic of me at 20 weeks!

Love like CRAZY!

Things have been pretty stressful around here for Garett and I. Just your normal day to day life stresses that everyone has. But you know when you just get to that point where you just have to break down because you feel like you hit rock bottom? Well there is this song that I've been hearing on the radio that really has helped me so much and I feel like I've related to it.

Life is hard sometimes, and you have to make some really hard sacrifices...but what I ABSOLUTELY love is that NO MATTER WHAT I know that I have the most incredible husband that I love like crazy, and who loves me more than crazy! It's so important to me to work harder than ever on that relationship, to let him know really how much he means to me and how LOST in this upside down world I would be without him. He is the most positive person out there, and he's always making sure I'm okay and happy! Even when I know HE'S SO ANGRY at me at times he still will just stop in the middle of an argument and say something that he knows will make me laugh and smile and I always say "Just because I'm smiling doesn't mean I'm not mad..." ha ha! He has sacrificed more then he should have to lately for our family and I'm so proud and thankful for him!
Also I know when times get tough I ALWAYS know I have my heavenly father and I'm grateful that I can pray to him WHENEVER and WHEREVER!

LOVE LIKE CRAZY
LEE BRICE

They called them crazy when they started out
Said seventeen's too young to know what loves about
They've been together fifty-eight years now
That’s crazy

He brought home sixty-seven bucks a week
He bought a little 2 bedroom house on Maple Street
Where she blessed him with six more mouths to feed
Yea that’s crazy

Just ask him how he did it; he'll say pull up a seat
It'll only take a minute, to tell you everything
Be a best friend, tell the truth, and overuse I Love You
Go to work, do your best, don't outsmart your common since
Never let your prayin' knees get lazy
And love like crazy

They called him crazy when he quit his job
Said them home computers, boy they'll never take off
He sold his one man shop to Microsoft
They paid like crazy

Just ask him how he made it
He'll tell you faith and sweat
And the heart of a faithful woman,
Who never let him forget

Be a best friend, tell the truth, and overuse I Love You
Go to work, do your best, don't outsmart your common since
Never let your prayin knees get lazy
And love like crazy

Always treat your woman like a lady
Never get to old to call her baby
Never let your prayin knees get lazy
And love like crazy

They called him crazy when they started out
They've been together fifty-eight years now

Aint that crazy?

NeW fOuNd LoVe!

I am loving being pregnant now! I was before, but now that I'm 17 weeks and in my second trimester I'm not feeling sick anymore just feeling great, I'm able to enjoy this time! On Wedensday April 21st Gar and I were able to go and find out what this little bug is. So far we have been calling the baby "baby bug" because Gar calls me "Bug, Bugga, Bugga Wugga, Princess bug, Stink Bug, Onrey Bug"...and you get the point. SO we were kind of thinking baby bug was a boy but every time I would picture myself holding my sweet baby I pictured a girl... which just didn't make sense ha ha! So we went and were SO SO excited we could hardly handle it....and finally the ultrasoundISTA (Yeah I made that word up :) ) told us That the baby is A GIRL!!!! We were SO happy!!!! We couldn't stop smiling and I was crying and we were laughing cause it was just so awesome! And to be able to see this girl moving around in my belly just made it that much more real! All of the sudden Garett and I had this un-real love for this girl that we haven't even met yet, but can't wait to meet!

The day before I went to find out this gender I was sitting at work and all of the sudden I felt THE BUTTERFLY FLUTTERING around feeling in my belly and it was the most amazing feeling to feel my baby girl! I love her so much! And Garett can't wait to be able to feel her either! We love our girl SO much and are anxiously waiting her arrival!

This is me at 17 weeks

And This is my dad at 36 weeks! :) ha ha
